There is so much history in beautiful Charleston and much to see.  Take the free bus for a tour of the area including Battery Park, stately old homes, old City Market, Slave Museum.  The outskirts of town you will find historic Plantations, Patriots Park where the WWII Yorktown Aircraft Carrier is a Museum and a very nice park under the Ravenel Bridge.
